Hey Y’all,

I have recently discovered an opportunity to put me closer to my personal goal of having my own food/lifestyle show and place me square in the sites of national producers and recruiters…..Woman Broadcaster Co-Host for a Day on Live with Regis and Kelly show. I am looking to build local support in my efforts to win this outstanding opportunity.

With many of you I have shared my goal; my life dream is my television program. For the last year, I have shared it with every person I meet. Everything that I do each day is a means to that end.  I’ve always loved food, but had I known of my love for television, news, and lifestyle I would have perused a career in broadcast journalism.  I recently attended one of the many Oprah Winfrey Network casting calls, it was a great experience for me and I hope something great comes of it.

One might ask, “Why do you want to be on TV?” Many most of your know my life story, my family, and my loss.  I want my own show so that I may capture my dream and do something that brings me joy and personal fulfillment.  Secondly, I want to secure a great income for my six children (I don’t want to stare at home foreclosure ever again) and expand my opportunities in field in which I’ve been locally successful. Before the kids were born, I did voice-over for local commercials.  In recent years, I have done syndicated radio work, and continued my live and on-air food demonstrations. Some of you are not aware that I host the BodyLove(bodylove.org) radio show of WJLD fm 104.1 here in Birmingham. Hosting BodyLove on WJLD qualifies me as a nominee for Co-Host for a Day.
